With over 26 years of hotel management experience, Susan specialises in leading operations, training teams, and overseeing processes to drive business and guest service success within 5-star hotels. She played an integral role in Romney Park Hotel’s profitability and success, and achieving the title of “Best 5-Star All Suite Hotel” in South Africa for six consecutive years.
Heino Reuling
Management Team
After completing his Bcom Hotel & Tourism Management degree at the University of Pretoria in 1995, Heino Reuling did his training at Sun City’s Main Hotel & The Balalaika Hotel in Sandton.
His first managerial position in 1996 was at the 5-star Marvol Manor House (a member of Relais Hotels) in Pretoria as Assistant General Manager. Within one year he was promoted within the group to General Manager in Cape Town to open the 5-star Romney Park All Suite Hotel.
Here he worked as the GM for 16 years and oversaw the hotel grow from a self-catering 15 suite hotel to a 30-suite award winning establishment who now boasts a spa, full service restaurant and bar.
Heino is currently working in partnership with Susan Versfeld managing The Stay Collection, a management company overseeing the rental of apartments at Romney Park.
